The "toilet" at the back of the restaurant we frequented, featured a ramp that dumped straight into the water (you can see the back side of the building on the right of the photo). 03 Buddhist templeThis building was part of a much larger complex that we were guided through. In the hills above this monastary was a sacred "sky burial" platform. 04 FarmstayFor one of our nights, we stayed at a house in a very remote village of maybe a dozen homes and were treated to traditional Tibetan home cooking. yum! 05 The village from aboveWe went for a walk with the local children up into the peaks surrounding the village. 06 Farmstay familyThe lovely family that put us up for a night. 07 Daily drinking waterNo running water where we were other than this spring about 1/2 km from the village. 08 Peak outside of LanmusiFive brave souls from the tour group decided to tough it out for a Tibetan Plateau mountain climb. We couldn't find a trail per se, but did find the peak after several hours though! 09 4007m baby!OK, maybe not mount everest (8850m) - but a great peak none the less!
